Australia’s one and only queer arts television show needs your help.

We are fundraising to film and screen Season Two of ‘Beauty & The Bear’ in 2012. We hope to raise 50% of the production budget through Pozible, and 50% through corporate sponsorship and fundraising concerts.



Episode 8: Greatest Hits

In the eighth and final episode of the season, we take a look back at some of the best interviews and live performances on Beauty & The Bear. Guests include The Blow Waves, Glace Chase, Selina Jenkins, Leigh Warren, Logan Bold and Brian North. And what television greatest hits package would be complete without a blooper reel?



Episode 7: Gorrrgeous Vonni

This week Nathan Little and Miz Ima Starr present a special presentation of their festival hit documentary ‘Gorrrgeous Vonni’, which unpacks the outrageous life and vivid times of showgirl and accidental activist Vonni.



Episode 6: Adam Cook, Jason Sweeney, Julian Crotti

Nathan compares funky facial hair with Artistic Director of the State Theatre Company of SA Adam Cook. Ima compares apples with oranges with Jason Sweeney. And to close the show, Nathan compares, contrasts with actor Julian Crotti.



Episode 5: Aaron Crocker, Sarah Ward, Brian North

Miz Ima Starr compares eyeliner application techniques with make-up artist Aaron Crocker. While Nathan goes face-to-face with cabaret character Sarah Ward. And to start the show, Ima catches up with her favourite frock designer, the multi-hyphenate Brian North.



Episode 4: Justin J Bear, Jo Kerlogue, Susie Keynes

In our eyelash batting fourth episode, Ima tells cabaret hunk Justin J Bear to blame it on the boogie. While Nathan shakes his body down to the ground with performance painter and visual artist Jo Kerlogue and turns the beat around with rock star and redhead Susie Keynes.



Episode 3: Logan Bold, Adam Richard, Libby O’Donovan

In the third episode, Miz Ima Starr twirls the proverbial baton with radio producer Logan Bold. Nathan Little tosses the proverbial caber with the fabulous Adam Richard. And to start the show, Ima discovers there’s no proverb that can sum up the multitalented Libby O’Donovan.



Episode 2: Leigh Warren, DJ Josh, Selina Jenkins

In our second episode, Miz Ima Starr limbers up with celebrated choreographer Leigh Warren. Nathan Little grabs a glow-stick and hits the dance floor with DJ Josh and builds a myspace profile of character comedian Selina Jenkins (aka Beau Heartbreaker).



Episode 1: Glace Chase, The Blow Waves, Troy-Anthony Baylis

In our first episode Miz Ima Starr dishes the dirt with former child star Glace Chase. Nathan Little spends an afternoon under the hot rollers with Melbourne’s princes of glam punk The Blow Waves. And Ima takes time out on the couch with visual artist & professional Kylie fanatic Troy-Anthony Baylis.
